alarming

for almost six hours now, i've been listening to the alarm sound in the office. after a co-worker disarmed the alarm this morning, she realized that the entire alarm system has gone awry. she calls the alarm company and she was informed that they cannot send someone to fix it today.

hate it, hate it, hate it. it's giving me a headache. i tried to listen to music but the incessant beeping keeps me so distracted. i am quite worried that i am going home this afternoon with the beeping sound in my head. darn!
