if i remember it right, weren't we taught in grade school to pledge using our right hand?

what's the right/proper way to pledge? here's our new mayor, pledging using his left hand, with his right hand on the bible.

i'm just confused. that's all.

because this ap photo also shows him taking his oath with his left hand. and also this one. take note: his left hand's ring finger has a ring; the same left hand he used while taking his oath. thanks for taking time to flip the original pic, mr. hanger. i still think he used his left and i am still confused.
